Picture Book Review: Maxwell the Monkey Barber

I was totally pulled in by the cover on this picture book. It so beautifully fills the page. Maxwell the Monkey Barber is the story of a cute little monkey who provides new hairdo's for the animal kingdom. My first thought upon reading the book was to warn preschoolers how cutting hair is only a grownups job.
This is a cute little book that can emphasize "thinking outside of the box" to help a friend and could be used with coloring sheets of monkeys, elephants, and lions. Also, don't forget a barber is a community helper!
Here is my review:
4 Stars
Maxwell is an adorable little monkey who provides haircuts for other animals. I was immediately drawn in by the cover. When Maxwell must make an elephant look good, he comes up with a wonderfully practical solution. This would be a good book for a preschool classroom!

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
