Puggle's Problem is about a spiny anteater who is waiting for his prickly spines to grow in. The book follows a familiar pattern of Pipp, the main character asking other animals about how they acquired their individual features. For American children, it is a great exposure to Australian animals and by the way, "gum" to them is eucalyptus plants.
Here is my review:
Puggle's Problem is a great book to help young children understand the concept of patience. Pipp, a spiny anteater, is waiting for his spines to grow in and asks an array of animals about their growing pains. The illustrations are simple and uncluttered, making this book easier to focus on for young children and special learners.
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
